Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Assists Case Managers in setting up appointments, keeping records, and performing routine follow-up.

• Provides support to Claim department in areas requiring specialized skills or knowledge.

• Handles requests for physical therapy, durable medical equipment (i.e., walkers, home commodes, etc.), and test/surgical requests.

• May refer test/surgical request to either in-house Case Managers or outside Case Managers for formal utilization review.

• Prepares, orders, and maintains records, reports, registers and schedules.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• The person hired for this position will work out of the Lakeland, FL office which offers a hybrid work environment of 3 days in the office and 2 days' work from home.

Job Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Generally, 4 or more years of related experience.
